For more than 70 years Dunlop Foams’ long history and expertise in Polyurethane (PU) foam manufacture and conversion in Australia have been unsurpassed. Our track record in innovation and research and development has made our products synonymous with quality and value.

A leading supplier to industrial and consumer markets, our foams are used for many diverse applications that include bedding, furniture, healthcare, sports, packaging, transport, cleaning and many others.

Like all members of the ‘Dunlop’ family of companies, our origins go back to John Boyd Dunlop (1840-1921), the inventor of the rubber pneumatic tyre. The introduction of upholstery foam in Australia goes back to the early 1930s when the Dunlop Perdriau Rubber Company started producing Dunlopillo rubber latex foam.

Dunlop Foams is proud of its partnership with the National Asthma Foundation – providing asthma awareness and education.

Our quality and environmental controls at Dunlop Foams, enabled us to be the first in the industry to use a CFC-free processes and we have now developed a new innovation CO2 manufacturing process. Many of our foam grades are also accredited by the Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA), which gives Dunlop Foams a leading edge in environmental awareness.
